Grocery Games of Raleigh Aftermath

Our agents had a great time competing against each other and raising money for a good cause on June 1, 2018, at the Grocery Games of Raleigh benefitting the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.

The Games

Last Friday, our agents shopped against each other for a good cause. Contestants from around the Triangle were given a grocery list five minutes before the games began. When a buzzer sounded, they had two minutes to place as many of the items from their list into their shopping carts as possible.
Our very own Stephanie Gilmore is holding second place right now! She got 93 items – only three items short of Brittani from Pulse FM!
All of the food from the event was donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC to help with their FREE summer meal program. The event raised 9,440 meals!  Thousands of families whose children receive FREE breakfast and lunch benefits during the school year do not have the means to provide their families with 3 daily meals during the summer months. This program helps feed those families.
